This is the trail leading to 69 palms oasis. It's unbelievable the contrast from desert to water and life.

Sitting in the shade of 69 palms oasis. This one had a pool that looked so refreshing after the long, hot hike. There weren't any trees besides these for miles and miles.

I had heard of oasis' in stories, but had never actually seen one. It was amazing. You are strolling along in the dry, hot, desert and come to a spring with palm trees and water.

It doesn't look that high from the top, however this crack in the rock with the climbing rings was pretty fun to come upon. We thought we were taking a leisurely hike through the desert. The wall full of holes was part of this same trail.
